Please excuse my horrible hair - I couldn't be bothered to wait for my hair to dry, so I just took these pictures while it was still wet.
The title of this post refers to the fact that it is the longest day of the year today. The day of the summer solstice is always a sad one, as it means that days are only going to get shorter from now till the end of the year.

Even though it is the longest day of the year, in the UK, that does not equate to good weather. As I was walking to the dentist this morning, there were so many snails on the floor which I hate as I always fear that I will step on one. (POST EDIT: Just like to say just as I published this post, I went outside to take out the rubbish and ironically stepped on a snail. Eurgh! Just the thought of it is putrid, but at least it wasn't a slug.)This was because it was strangely humid, which is something that it quite rare for the UK. Annoyingly, it meant that it would keep starting to rain, and then stopping. This meant I had to take these pictures by awkwardly positioning my camera in the door way, so it wouldn't get wet, restricting my positioning. This was a shame as my garden is actually quite pretty at the moment with lots of flowers and I wanted to share them with you (I sound like an old lady already!).

However, one positive of the weather is that it reminds me of my holiday to China last year when I went to Chengdu, where super humid days are common. That thought handily brings us back to this outfit as I love how most of the statement items (top and bag) are souvenirs from my travels. I love the ethnic/tribal vibe it has, as well as the obvious sentimental value.

Ciao for now!

P.S. I'm super, super, super, terribly sorry that I have been pretty MIA from the blogging world and not posting as regularly as possible. This is because I currently don't have access to the laptop I usually use for my posts, so I have to use this other laptop, which is awful. This means that it is near impossible to post as it is too laggy and slow to edit pictures, upload then, embed them etc. You wouldn't think that it would require so much technology to get one of these posts out there, but it really does. I have taken the pictures to quite a few outfit posts, but I just can't edit them into a post with this load of junk. Today I have used my mum's laptop, but I rarely have the opportunity to use it.
P.P.S. This is mega frustrating as currently, I do actually have time to post as I HAVE FINISHED MY GCSEs, HALLELUJAH!
P.P.P.S.  On a more positive note, I am thinking of taking my blog to the next level by incorporating video into my posts and venturing into the scary world of Youtube. In my personal blog (Peaabrained) I have expressed my love for the website, and I really want to enhance my blog with multimedia and improve the ScatterrBrained experience. I am thinking of perhaps recording my outfit of the days to supplement the pictures that I already post on this blog, but of course, at the moment, this is only just a dream as I can't even imagine how tough editing a video is going to be if I can't even construct a simple post on this piece of ****.
P.P.P.P.S. Okay, I know I said I'd keep my ramble on PeaaBrained, but I just thought I owed you guys an explanation about where I've been of lately.
