To the left, then to the right

Handband - Topshop, Shirt - Vintage, T-shirt - Primark
I now realise why there  are so many GIFs on tumblr, it's because they are honestly so fun to make! Here's one I made quickly on my phone - I was originally taking pictures just to show off my hair as I thought it looked cool, but then I decided to put on the negative setting. It kind of makes me look like some kind of freaky albino lady - I like it. I'm not too sure what exactly I am doing with my lips, but I thought it looked funny so hey, why not!? Try doing what I am doing in the picture, in time with the picture, with your own lips. Go on, try it, it's quite fun.

Anyway, I do acknowledge that this is a rather pointless post -they really have done downhill recently. I just haven't been that inspired by anything, apart from clothes, but I know not everyone is that interested those kinds of post. My life has be dreary and uneventful at the moment, so I don't have anything exciting to blog about. All I seem to do is waste time on my laptop, doing nothing productive when I have mounds of homework that require completing - exactly what I am doing at the moment. This is were I would like some help from you...

I've decided that I'm doing to do a questions and answers post, where you can ask me any sort of question you like, below this post in the comments section, and I will hopefully compile them together into one post next week. You can send them in anonymously too if you wish, so I suppose in that aspect, it'll be like Formspring, but on Blogger, so get asking! The more risque and thought-provoking the better! I bet this is going to be a flop and I am going to look thoroughly loser-ish if no one comments with anything, but oh well.

Tah-tah for now,

Rebecca x

Origami Elephant on my Ukulele

What it says in the title.

Today's BEDIHT is a quicky, as I'm about to go out for my friends birthday dinner! I'm sure you guys have had enough words to read on my blog from yesterday. Hope you guys enjoy these pictures, even though I couldn't get the focus exactly where I wanted it and they are by no means perfect!

See you tomorrow,

Rebecca x

Profiteroles

Today, I decided to make profiteroles with my awesome friend MP. After the first few steps, I must admit, the choux pastry looked absolutely vile, but in the end it turned out pretty ay-okay.
The finished product!

Here is a video I made of the entire process!

Here is Youtube video that I got the recipe from.

And lastly, here is a funny video about profiteroles.

I now realise why no one ever makes profiteroles by hand. They are probably the most tedious and ridiculous things to fill with cream and dunk in chocolate - especially since ours were so diddy. Nonetheless, they tasted very yummy!

Unhello,

Rebecca x

P.S. I am uploading this post at 00.14pm, so technically I have broken my Blog Every Day in Half Term, which sucks! However, I got home at 10.30pm, and since then, I've been attempting to upload this video onto Youtube, which has decided to be a bum and keep crashing when reaching 93% uploaded. I also posted twice yesterday and I've also got another 2 planned to write later today, so please don't be too angry!

Stop Clownin' Around

WARNING: NOT SUITABLE FOR THOSE EASILY FRIGHTENED
Party-pooper
Obligatory Camera Shot

~ BONUS NUGGET OF KNOWLEDGE ~

Did you know the fear of clowns is know as coulrophobia, as coulro- means stilt walker. In 2006, the British arts and music festival "Bestival" cancelled its planned clown theme, after many ticket holders contacted the organisers expressing their dismay.

Two posts in one day - I'm on fire!

Adieu

Rebecca x

P.S Sorry for the rubbish pictures, still haven't worked out a method of taking pictures of myself.
P.P.S Sorry if I have scared any young children. Clowns have always been creepy.

Favourite Youtubers

I was going to write a boring post about trains today, but then instead I thought to myself, who cares.... I'll do one of about my favourite Youtubers for BEDIHT day 3!

I far too much time on this website, as I am sure you do too. I am subscribed to almost 300 people on it, even though I have recently decided to unsubscribe to as many people as possible. It's just too tempting to click on a video on the subscription list, and then spend half a day going through all the videos on the channel. Plus, alot of the people that I am subscribe to, no longer interest me since my taste in videos have changed.

I think I first started watching Youtube videos in 2007-ish. This was when I first started getting into make-up and beauty, and at this point the beauty community was much nicer, less bitchier and I felt like I was actually learning about it from the videos. I am still subscribed to loads of those beauty "gurus", but I find that some videos are so repetitive, really poorly made and often unrelatable. There are make up artists (such as Lisa Eldridge) who have decades of professional experience in the trade making videos; I don't need a 14 year old girl to teach me how to do my eyeliner too.

Anyway, here are my favourites:

KickThePj
I think that his videos are all so fantastically animated, drawn and edited- it is obvious that alot of time and effort have been taken in them. And those eyes!
Favourite Video?

It's so peculiar, I love it!

brettdomino
Brett Domino and Steven Peavis are the epitome of cool. Geeky is the new sexy.
Favourite Video?

grav3yardgirl
I think that this is one of those beauty channels that I was just ranting about, but I think Bunny has to probably one of the funniest people I have ever come across on all the interweb. Plus her eyes and shoe collection is absolutely awesome.
Favourite Video?
I don't have a favourite video - all of her videos make me feel happy - but is a random recent one.

sortedfood
I think I can thank Sorted for helping me improve my culinary skills! Plus, whenever I watch their videos I get so hungry!
Favourite Video?

This simply because I use this recipe so often for an instant chocolate cake!

ClothesEncounters
If I had to only watch one channel, this would be the one that I would chose. As you can probably tell at the moment, I am really into thrifting, fashion and clothes and Sarah has a fantastic sense of style. It's so inspirational.
Favourite Video?
This is by no means my favourite video since I love all of their outfit videos. I want some disco pants, plus all of Jenn's platforms! I do miss Sarah's presence in their videos though. :(

I realise that probably not will be interested in quite a few of these channels, since they are often quite specific, but I hope you got something out of this quick blog post!

What are your favourite Youtube Channels? Tell them me in the comments.

Tah-tah for now.

Pinch, punch, first day of the month... NO RETURNS!

I bet you didn’t expect to see this post today! First and foremost, I would like to apologise for the lack of posts recently. The blogging hiatus – which I predicted in my post last week – has indeed, come true. In the end, having an exam daily for a week, has taken the toll on the frequency of my blog posts. I have not lost interest in blogging, in any way, although when I started writing this post, I did feel like I was out of the swing of things, but fear not! Luckily, I only have 2 left this week, so more posts will be coming towards your way!
On one hand, I can’t believe that it is February already, but on the other, thinking of how much work/exams I have had in the last few weeks, New Year certainly feels like it was a long time ago! I think it’s time for an update organise my life out. I doubt this post is going to be interesting to read, but I like having it for my own personal reference. You can just skip to the P.S. if you want to read something slightly interesting!

This month I have...

  1.  Been to S.A.’s Party
  2. Had lots of “fun” revision sessions with M.
  3.  Lost my bloody phone!!!
  4. Done around 921743788719432813621 science past papers
  5. Climbed out a window at the Chinese New Year party and also got an “I ate all my lunch” sticker

Update on New Year’s Resolutions
The Serious Business

  •  GCSE’s get some great results YES
Well, it’s a bit early for that, but I have had 3 science module exams, and I feel that they have gone satisfactory. As for other subjects, I feel like I really need to do some Music and French coursework, but I am happy with how Resistant Materials and Geography are going.

  • Manage my time more effectively NO
I certainly have failed at this, considering I have been going to sleep 11.30pm+ every single night and waking up at a ridiculous time too. I think I am going to go unsubscribe to loads of people on YouTube and keep my ukulele in my case, as I am wasting so much time, watching pointless videos and strumming the same chords, over and over again! I think I’m going to start doing a “to-do list” for every single day because I like being meticulous, otherwise it’s hard to juggle everything.

  • Be a bit happier YES
Yup, I think that I have been quite positive this month.

  •   Make 2012 the best year ever
Hmm, a bit too early to decide that!

More Light-Hearted stuff

  • Stop saying “init” so much YES
  •  Look after my plantNO
This is certainly something that it has failed in... The plant is looking increasingly glum and dying. The leaves are really quite yellow, thus my B2 knowledge is telling me that it is lacking in Magnesium.

  • Become a ukulele masterYES/NO
Kinda, ish... I have been playing my uke far more often, but I would hardly say I was that good.

  • Improve my appearanceNO
  • Stop making duck faces and get a new Facebook profile pictureNO
  • Actually try and complete my music courseworkYES/NO
Only my 2nd composition and ensemble recording left!

  •  Blog at regular intervalsYES/NO
It is addressed above. I have, although, managed to write 15 posts in January, so I have stuck to my blog every other day commitment. Depressingly, the number of views I am getting has really decreased quite dramatically, but I am just reminding myself, that this blog is for me, and my own enjoyment.

What I want to achieve in February (half term more specifically)

  • Start going charity shop shopping, but don’t tell my mum as she thinks its skanky and I will get diseases from the clothes?!
  • Start my style blog and work out how to use my dad’s Nikon SLR, so I can actually get some decent pictures.
  • Finish/make significant headway with my second composition
  • Recorded Bach violin double for GCSE Music ensemble
  •  Upload everything on for Duke of Edinburgh
  •  Blog every day during half term (and you can shout at me if I don’t!)
  •  Have sent off my application my Headstart course application
  • Watch all the Desperate Housewives that I have managed to miss!

    I think that is it!
Here is another list of potential blog posts for the next week (just so I don’t forget to write them)

  • Tribute to my Dad
  •  Intelligence and GCSE’s
  • End of my chronicle series*
  • Stuff I want to buy *
*would perhaps go on the new blog that I want to start.

Okay, this blog post sucked. But it’s more of a reminder/to do list for myself.

Ciao for now,

Rebecca x
P.S. Pinch, punch first day of the month, no returns!
P.P.S A kick and a flick for being so quick/ a d*ck/ a pr*ck.
P.P.P.S A stab in the eye for being so sly.
P.P.P.P.S A thumb on the back for being so slack.
P.P.P.P.P.S Pull your hair for being un-fair.
P.P.P.P.P.P.S. Why is violence always used to celebrate a new month?

I is bare cool, init?

Today, in English we started our Spoken Language element of our GCSE language coursework. Now, usually hate English with a passion, I wouldn’t even think about it outside the context of our classroom, but today I was compelled to write this blog post about it. Bizarrely enough, I actually found what we were studying really quite interesting (I can’t believe I’m saying this, what has the world come to?!).

We commenced by exploring what actually is spoken language. It is not just when you have a conversation with someone or if you give speech, but then could also be an online conversation. That means that it’s anything which is intended to be said out loud first rather than written down and edited. In that aspect, I suppose my blog is spoken language, considering that I simply just write down whatever the train of thought is in my head. Some of my friends at school even mentioned today that when they read my posts, they read it with my voice in their head.

Next, we moved onto accents. People associate them with foreign people and dull (what is the opposite of funny and witty?) comedians, but everyone has an accent. Even in our class there were a variety accents, however there were a few which were most prevalent and reflective of our entire year group (all images copyright WANG)

1.       The majority of the people just have a southern estuary accent; however laziness in annunciation is common.

2.       Some people have Home Counties accents with perfect diction and speak eloquently, but are slightly audacious and arrogant. It is clear that their parents probably whipped them every night to make sure they don’t drop their T’s.

3.       Other people have been whipped by their parents to speaking in Received Pronunciation, due to peer pressure, attempt to add in slang, (such are “bare” and “allow”), thus sounding rather ridiculous.

4.       The FOBs. FOB stands for fresh off the boat, i.e. they have just moved to this country from another. Most common FOB accents in our school include American and Australian accents.

5.       A few people have a London “youth accent” in order to seem “hard”. I don’t get it either. (sorry the picture is a bit stereotypical!)

As I was writing these categories for my school, it struck me that an accent is not only the way you speak or where you come from – it can also suggest social status and stereotypes. It’s amazing how something so intrinsic can have just a prominent affect on how you are perceived to be like. However, this is not always a negative; everyone has their own unique accent and style which is almost like a vocal fingerprint. The English language is constantly developing and accents can often offer meaning beyond just the letters. If everyone had to speak in RP, what a monotonous world it would be.  I think regional accents provide personality.

So, what category do I fit in?

Being a BBC (British born Chinese), my parents hardly ever communicate to me in English, thus they would not have influenced my accent in anyway. This must mean that my accent has been mostly affected by my schooling.

1.       I always drop my T’s, probably because almost everyone around here does. After our English teacher pointed this out, I attempted to perfectly pronounce my T’s, but in the end, I thought I sounded slightly silly.
2.       I used to always say “f”, when it’s supposed to be “th”. For example, I used say “f”ursday, instead of “th”ursdays, probably because this is a trade mark of being brought up in “emel. I remember my sister always used to tease me about it, so I tried to change it. Another reason could be because, in the Chinese language (Mandarin), there is no “th” sound at all, so I probably grew up not using it in both languages, since it wasn’t used in one. I still find it slightly hard to pronounce to this day and sometimes the devilish “f” does still creep in out of habit.

So yes, in conclusion, I believe that spoken language is something which should equate to more than a measly 10% of a GCSE. The way you speak/talk is just so imperative to every walk of life – that is unless you decide to move to another country and never utter another word in English ever again. Apart from grades and what is written down on your CV, the second most important factor when in an interview situation is the way you converse and portray/sell yourself with your words. Therefore, English teachers, I think you should teach us less about pointless poetry and make us write fewer critical essays, and teach us the skills that will be invaluable all throughout our life.

Here is a hilarious video of this one guy attempting 24 English accents. By the way, it contains lots of swearing.

Wow, I can’t believe I wrote an entire post about English.

“F”anks for reading!

Rebecca x

P.S. I am planning to blog every other day this month! So far, I have managed to stick to this goal, and it’s something I really do want to keep to throughout the year, so check back regularly for more content!
P.P.S. I have far too much fun using MS paint...

Tribute to my sister

The relationship that I have with my sister is quite unconventional, since she is a total of 7 years older than me. Also, I haven’t seen her very much the last 4 ish years because she went to university/ abroad. However, tomorrow, she is leaving the nest for the faraway land of the Scots, to live the rest of her life.
I am going to miss…
·         Playing double Diamond Dash and Bejewelled together on the iPad in order to achieve the high score.
·         Being able to play Plants Vs Zombies on your laptop
·         Being able to use your straighteners
·         Being part of the big butt society
·         Holidays together
·         Being able to annoy you at whatever time of day I want
·         Being able to annoy mum together
·         The money that you have, which you bought my Doc Martens with. I am eternally grateful!
·         Being able to use your nail polish
Obviously, being siblings does mean that we don’t always get on. Arguing is going to be a common occurrence, so
I am NOT going to miss…
·         You borrowing my clothes, jewellery, make up, shoes, everything…
·         The amount of hair you shed everywhere
·         You stealing the laptop
Now that you are gone, I can finally have the big room back. After 10 long years of waiting!
So, I hope you have fun on the oil rig with the dudes. Remember, oxidation is loss, reduction is gain of electrons!
Come back soon, and try not to get a Scottish accent.
Have fun with life then,

Rebecca x

New Year’s Resolutions

Get ready for a mega long post.
‘Tis the end of another year: a time for both reflection on the past year and looking forward to the next. I would say the cliché phrase that is “time flies when you’re having fun” but I can’t really think of anything that was really that fun. I mean Sichuan 2011, Taiwan 2011, 15th Birthday at Kidzone, Sauce for the Goose, Orchestra Courses, Duke of Edinburgh expedition, London/Birmingham/Milton Keynes meet ups, Snowdonia Geography trip, various birthday parties were all fantastic experiences, but my sixth sense is telling me that 2012 is going to be the best year yet in .
Amazing Visit to Taiwan
To start off this hopefully momentous year, let’s commence with some self improvement, in the form of New Year’s Resolutions.
I WILL KEEP THEM THIS YEAR!
Every year I think to myself in my head, “oh I’ll just try harder/sleeper earlier/be nicer this year” but always manage to fail to sustain them for more than a few days. However, this year is going to be different, I AM going to keep them, by setting them in stone on the internet. Yes, it’s time for another list! Plus, if you know me personally, I give you permission to nag me about them, but not too much.
THE SERIOUS BUSINESS
1. GCSEs: get some great results
a. Year 11 inevitably means time for our GCSE examinations. I don’t just want good results. You only get one shot at them, so I want the best.
2. Manage my time more effectively.
a. As stated in my first post, I am a severe procrastinator. Ironically, I hate wasting time and being unproductive, yet I spend so much time on Facebook, Skype, and Youtube. I always complain about not having enough time to play violin, blog, do homework and other such important things, and I think it’s time to be a little more pro-active. This also includes going to sleep at a sensible time every day, and waking up at a decent time too.
3. Be a bit happier.
a. I am not afraid to admit that I am a moody person. Time to spot spending less time moaning and worrying about pernickety details - which in the end, don’t mean anything – and instead, smile a bit more and generally be a more friendly person.
4. Make 2012 the best year ever.
a. Lots of things will be happening this year, and I want to make the most of it. This links back to managing my time more effectively, so I get the most out of what is most important.
MORE LIGHT-HEARTED STUFF
1. Stop saying “init” so much.
a. I am literally disgusted in myself for letting this little devil of the word creep into my everyday vocabulary. Who do I think I am? I am not a badman, nor am I hard, probably the exact opposite!
2. Look after my plant.
a. For Christmas, my mum bought me probably the second coolest plant ever, with the first being a venus fly trap. I hope that with my love and care, my Tillandsia will grow large and flower, but I highly doubt it.
My plant is a Tillandsia, which is stuck to a super awesome snowman.
~BONUS NUGGET OF KNOWLEDGE~
Did you know that Tillandsia is a genus of epiphytes, also known as air plants? They do not have any roots, nor do they require any soil, since they absorb all the moisture and nutrients it needs through the air.
3. Become a ukulele master!
a. Well, maybe not, but to actually develop some skill when it comes to ukulele playing. My parents bought me a brand new ukulele as an upgrade from my horrible red Mahalo which only cost £15. Hopefully this new uke will stay in tune for more than one strum.

Armed with “Ukulele for Dummies”, I hope to become a ukulele god, or at least, learn a new song each month.
4. Improve my appearance.
a. Yes I am vain. This means actually waking up more than 10 minutes before I have to leave my house, so I can actually make myself look presentable.
5. Stop making duck faces and get a new Facebook profile picture.
a. I think it’s about time to stop taking such posey pictures and grow up. Also I am rather shocked that I have had my Facebook profile picture for almost 8 months. That is preposterous and must be changed.
Somehow I don't think that this is going to be my new profile picture...

6. Actually try and complete my music coursework.
a. It is starting to get rather ridiculous. I was supposed to have completed my first composition before July 2011, and be well on my way with my second composition. I haven’t even finished my first composition… Argh!
LASTLY, but probably most importantly:
Blog at regular intervals! Obviously.
Now that it is the end of the official holiday season and since the start of the Spring Term and January exams are only just lurking around the corner, most people are starting to feel rather solemn about the prospect of no more fat dinner parties with multiple delicious courses, no more boxes of Quality Street sweets, no longer being able to sleep in until *insert ridiculous hour in the afternoon* o’clock, nor being able to give the excuse of “but it’s the holidays” to parents when they nag you about doing homework. However, it’s not all doom and gloom for us Chinese homies, only 22 days until Chinese New Year! 太棒了!!!
Time for some more food!
Cheers big ears,

Rebecca x
Always ScatterrBrained
P.S. Thank you very much for all your lovely comments about this blog. I appreciate them! Congrats to Wandi for being the first person to follow this blog too. You’re awesome. The statistics are also very surprising, who knew I had readers from Germany and Bulgaria, O.o. Equally as shocking, 32% of my readers actually still use Internet Explorer. Are they stuck in the Stone Age?! If you are one of these people, try Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, and you’ll see what you are missing out on.

Origin of ScatterrBrained

In the style of Stripeytofu ;), I’m going to explain to you why on earth I chose the name of ScatterrBrained for my blog.
Unfortunately, my story is not as exciting as his, as it all started a few nights ago as I was lying in bed. I know I do my best thinking whilst lying in bed, don’t you? I was thinking of names for my blog, and for a few reasons I thought ScatterrBrained would be super awesome. You have probably worked out that I LOVE writing lists by now.
REASONS WHY SCATTERRBRAINED IS A SUPER AWESOME NAME
1. The adjective scatterbrained describes someone who is exhibiting or characterised by lack of serious thought or concentration; disorganised; silly. It’s a slight oxymoron, but I hope that having this blog will make me less disorganised as I can plan everything out on here. It can be something that I can concentrate and work on and it will be something that I can be proud of. I also hope that it can make me less silly, but doubt that will happen. +1!

2. In ScatterrBrained, there is CAT within sCATter. We all know that cat’s are super awesome animals, duhh! +1!
3. In ScatterrBrained, there is SCAT within SCATter. Scatting is vocal improvisation with wordless vocables, nonsense syllables or without words at all. Scat singing gives singers the ability to sing improvised melodies and rhythms, to create the equivalent of an instrumental solo using their voice, in jazz. +1!
4. In ScatterrBrained, there is BRAIN within BRAINed. The brain is the centre of the nervous system and is also the most complex organ in the body. That makes it undoubtedly super awesome. +1!

~BONUS NUGGET OF KNOWLEDGE~
Did you know that primitive invertebrates such as sponges, jellyfish, sea squirts and starfishes do not have brain? I bet you didn’t. ;)
5. CAT and BRAIN together, reminds me of zombie cats, which in my head leads to connotations of Plants verses Zombies, possibly one of my favourite games ever, and the zombie cats which were on Misfits a few episodes, which is my favourite TV show.
Super awesome! +1! LEVEL UP!!!

Last summer, I was so very close to starting a blog, however, I could not think of any sort of name for it whatsoever. I do acknowledge that the name is far from perfect (the double r in Scatterr is already severely annoying the hell out of me!), despite all the reasons why it is a super awesome name. It’s rather mundane, but creating a blog was something that I didn’t want to put off for any longer. Having no name was no longer an excuse, thus I created this blog ScatterrBrained and here we are now.
My blog summarised in 3 images.
See you suckers.
Rebecca x
Always ScatterrBrained
P.S. To christen my blog’s birth, I am going to do BEDTW. In case you don’t know what BEDTW is, I’m going to Blog Every Day This Week. At the end of the week there is going to be something truly awesome, which I haven’t thought of yet, but I will do something really cool, I promise. :D

Friday, 30 December 2011

Oh gosh, what have I signed myself up to?

BLOG: noun
Short for weblog, a blog is a web site containing the writer's or group of writers' own experiences, observations, opinions, etc., and often having images and links to other web sites.

Yes, I have done it, I have created myself a blog on today, the 30th of December 2011, quarter to midnight. Yet I am feeling rather apprehensive for many reasons as listed below.
REASONS WHY BLOGGING AND I DON’T MIX:
1. I detest English, in particular writing. In year 6 we took an exam called SATs, and I managed to achieve a level 5 in all my exams (which was – at that time - quite an achievement), par my English writing exam, where I achieved a dreaded level 4. Luckily, this was only a small section of my exam, thus achieved a level 5 overall. However, this traumatic experience was the spark which has lead to my hatred of English. Perhaps it is just my inability to express my thoughts and feelings through the medium of language which has lead to my rather ignorant hatred of writing.
2. I am a coward when it comes to doing things out my “comfort-zone”. Blogging is certainly something which is out of it, by publishing myself on the world wide web. I’m not even sure what I am scared of, maybe it is people judging me on what I write, or even my lack of confidence when it comes to writing English, as stated above.
3. I absolutely suck at persevering at hobbies and I give up far too easily. This is expressed at my terrible skills when it comes to video games. For example, in Mario, I managed to die a total of 5 times even in the first level on the first world, thus I gave up on it entirely. Even to this day, I have despised platform games for that very reason.
“So why on earth have you created this blog?”
After writing all these reasons why I don’t want to create a blog, I have almost forgot why I made this blog in the first place. But reasons why I have include…
Three YAY!s FOR BLOGGING:
1. I have read lots of blogs for many years now, some I find so inspirational, others just a really great read. I love how you can get to know someone so much better by reading their blog and it’s something that I have always wanted to do for many years now. However, I have always been such a pussy (as some people would put it ;)) to things like this. It is now (at the moment of writing this) the last day before the New Year, and one of my resolutions is to definitely try to push out of my comfort zone. Yay! number one.
2. For the year of 2008, I kept a diary for the entire year. Earlier last week I found this diary and found it so insightful. It made me realise just how important it is to keep your memories, and just how quickly time can fly by. Writing down on paper is so last decade, so doing it digitally is the way to go. This blog isn’t going to be a day to day record of my life, but just something that I can read a few years down the line and think: “Hey I was a cool kid back then!”. Yay! number two.
3. A new hobby means less time procrastinating (i.e playing Bejewelled and Sims, oops…) and more time doing something productive. It was either this or tumblr and I thought this was a bit more useful. Yay! number three.
Okay, now that I have committed to this blogging hoo-ha, looks like it’s time for me to get down to business.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THIS BLOG:
I have always loved fashion and beauty related blogs, youtube videos etc. and I loved the idea of making creative content, but then it struck me one day as I saw a glimpse of me in the mirror, my clothes/appearance are crap at the moment. I don’t think it’s something I really am qualified to be lecturing people about, at least not at this stage in my life. So in this blog, expect random posts about my life, whatever comes to mind really. It’s probably going to include updates on life, what’s up, current obsessions, diary-esque entries, inspiration posts, lots of music, plus a few fashion-y posts included too.
POSTS FOR THE FUTURE:
I am going to make a checklist for posts I want to get out ASAP, so I am actually going to be motivated to write and update this blog. Motivation is something I struggle with!
· Friends, what are they?
So yes, if you have made it this far, reading this post. I seriously commend you. *Round of applause* Also, congratulations too, as I think I’m only going to link this blog to people I really like and - I want it to be personal. Therefore, yay for you.
There we have it, ScatterrBrained has been metaphorically christened. Let’s see if there’s going to be tumble weed blowing across it next month, metaphorically speaking of course, again. ;)
Lots of virtual love,
Rebecca x
Always scatterbrained.

P.S Reading this back, please don’t judge me on my attempted jokes, I really do know I am not very witty, in any way, shape or form. Soz guys.
P.P.S. Some of this post doesn’t make sense, it’s because I’m writing literally the first thing that comes into my head. Soz if it’s rather incoherent.
P.P.P.S Most control my use of commas - my punctuation is appauling! Soz!
P.P.P.P.S Argh, okay, I’m going to stop apologising, since hypocritical me hates people who always apologise.
P.P.P.P.P.S Okay I’m rambling, ciao for now!
